Designing a Laundry Room: Step 3 – Finalizing Your Space

What you learned:

Adjusting front styles:

• Click the “ALL WALLS” view to see all your walls at once.
• In the top left-hand corner, select “Front Styles.”
• Click on the “Front Style” tab and to browse through and select your desired front style and color.
• To change how the drawers in your laundry room solution close, click or tap on the “Drawer Slides” tab and select the option that suits your needs.
• Click the “Door Hinges” tab if you have doors to upgrade to a soft close door hinge.
• Once you have made your selections, click “Save.”

Choosing hardware styles:

• In the top left-hand corner, select “Hardware Styles.”
• Click on the “Hardware Finish” tab to choose the color of your drawer and door hardware. You can make them match the color of the wardrobe rods included in your design, or add interest by making them a contrasting finish.
• Click on the “Handle and Knob Style” tab to select the type of knob or handle is included for the drawers in your design.
• Once you have made your selections, click “Save.”

Selecting the overall color of your solution and its accessories:

• Click through the color swatches available to the left-hand side of your screen. Select the one that accommodates your personal style and budget.
• To change or add accessories, click on the wall you would like to edit.
• Click on the section within the wall you would like to edit. Once the section is glowing blue, click the “Edit” pencil below.
• Navigate to the right-hand panel.
• Click “Accessories.”
• Click and drag your desired accessory into your design.
• Go to “3D” view to see what your design looks like with the added accessories.
