In 1999, EasyClosets was created to fill the needs of savvy consumers looking to purchase a custom closet system online, with the cost savings benefits of DIY installation and factory-direct manufacturing. After years of running a fully-installed custom closet business, we found that people were faced with two options – settle for an inexpensive and low-quality solution at a big box store that didn’t truly make the most of their space, or come to us for a full-service solution.
In the earliest days of the internet, we developed the first ever, online closet design tool where the power of custom closets was made directly available to homeowners wanting to maximize their space with a quality solution, without the professionally installed price tag. And the rest is history.
